I always think that if we didn't think "weed" we'd be so pleased with those lovely colors and with the wonderful "blowing" experience when it morphs. So much for our "green grass" culture. Boring! And picky as heck.
Becky is so right. I love dandelions...a sure sign of spring, and dandelion field are a sight to behold. Plus they're fun to paint your skin with.(ps...we haven't got any yet!!)
They certainly are one of the more interesting "weeds". I guess they are weeds because they spread themselves around where we don't want them. You've certainly made it look like a flower here.
I love it when a 'weed' looks at me in a way of conveying, "I've been adding color and texture to this sidewalk crack for years...thank you for noticing."

ReplyDeletewhen I see dandelions I think 'ah my friends have returned' they go in salads, sandwiches, wine, syrup and more. Such a wonderful photo!
