THIS IS NOT MY YACHT!

I saw so many
yachts
in Newport, RI,
that I could
ALMOST imagine
owning one...

but...

Alas,

I don't.

Neither
do
I
own
a
sailboat,
but
don't
these
sailors
handle
their boat
beautifully?

Do you have
a boat/an affinity
for the water?

THIS IS NOT MY HOUSE!

THESE HOMES
IN NEWPORT, RI
ARE AMAZING;
MORE LIKE
MUSEUMS THAN
COZY HOMES.
I DON'T LIVE HERE.

I DON'T LIVE HERE
EITHER.

I DON'T EVEN
LIVE HERE!

NEEDLESS TO SAY,
THIS IS NOT MY IDEA
OF HOME.

I DON'T LIVE
HERE

THIS FEELS
MORE LIKE
A CASTLE,
NOT MY STYLE!

NOW THIS...I
COULD BE PERSUADED;
I FIND IT LOVELY ;))
DO ANY OF THESE "HOMES"
SUIT YOU?

CRASHING INTO
NEWPORT, RI
ARE BEAUTIFUL,
AREN'T THEY?

THIS IS NOT ME
SURFING.

NEITHER IS
THIS.

GOTTA'
ADMIRE THESE
GUYS, THOUGH.

DO YOU SURF?

Lonely Land Forgotten

San Francisco Bay
so close,
yet in it's
third year
of severe
drought,
California
withers away.

Inspire Me Monday #7

Crosses captured my attention today.
So many crosses in castles and churches
when we visited London!

I Welcome Myself Back

After a trip TX (sizzling temps, TX-MEX and BBQ), I went to NYC and saw Billy Elliot. Amazing! These kids can move their bodies in ways I never imagined. I'm going back again and again.

More Travel

I'm on the road again.
I won't be able to post
with photos, but will
be able to read your
posts, so I can at least
keep up with you all.
Hopefully I'll return
with some interesting
stories, like this Indian
American Storyteller. I'll
be back with photos next
Wednesday.

Smiles to you all.

Inspire Me Monday #6—Ancient Life and Art

Each time I complain about the dust, I remember the Anasazi
who lived in these caves. Suddenly, dust doesn't seem relevant.
I'm always in awe of the rock art. (Click to enlarge the images.)
It doesn't really matter what it all means. But isn't it interesting
we still use these symbols (from around 1300 AD, but were around
before even then)?
