Last Christmas...

Last Christmas Blaze, the dog, found a delicious bone in his stocking.

We had to hang the stockings higher this year because Blaze kept trying to get into his. Poor thing. How do you explain to a dog that all good things come to those who wait?

A good friend started a new blog. Pam is a writer who delights in Christmas trees and has 38! On December 1 she started posting photos of one tree a day. You'll love these beauties! Visit Pam at http://pamstebbins.blogspot.com/

  2. Oh Blaze reminds me of our Kelly when she was younger. She would sniff every box that came around this time of year and step over all the boxes under the tree looking for hers. One year when Buddy was still with us, they found their Easter treats, waking us up squeaking their new toys! How I miss those days, now I count my blessing she will make it to Christmas. Enjoy my friend!xo

  5. Dogs and kids are like that. Maybe we should take lessons from them, such joy.

  9. I'm a standard poodle mommy too! My girl Ellie is the chocolaty sort and not nearly so beautifully groomed...be lovely in her own gentle way...with those big brown poodley eyes and those fluffy ears framing her sweet face. Always good to discover other poodle lovers...I think WE are a special breed too!
    Happy Holidays
