Inspire Me Monday #6—Ancient Life and Art
Each time I complain about the dust, I remember the Anasazi
who lived in these caves. Suddenly, dust doesn't seem relevant.
I'm always in awe of the rock art. (Click to enlarge the images.)
It doesn't really matter what it all means. But isn't it interesting
we still use these symbols (from around 1300 AD, but were around
before even then)?

This is fantastic, the spiral is my favourite design/shape. How strange that it appears in so many ancient glyphs.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, Jeanne! When were you there? The spiral is my favorite as well. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing formations. Where are these located - did you come across them on your last road trip?
ReplyDeleteI have a condo in Santa Fe, NM. These particular rocks are at a park close to Los Alamos, NM. I love hiking in the park.

ReplyDeleteOh this is just beautiful. I'm always interested in the life of the indians. Thanks for showing me this.
